Karpet alias terpal kita buka, kemudian kami keluarkan joran andalan kami masing-masing.

Subhanallah, MasyaAllah, Allahu Akbar.

Namun setelah kami selesai menyeduh kopi, hujan kembali datang.

Setelah semua beres, kami pun tidur bejejer tiga orang. Angin semakin kencang disertai ombak yang semakin besar, sedikit mengganggu kosentrasi kami untuk tidur. Namun kami berusaha tidur, meskipun tidur ayam, bentar-bentar bangun. Menjelang pagi angin mulai berkurang, ombak pun berubah menjadi ombak kecil.

Kami pun tidur pulas sampai alarm hp saya berbunyi jam 5 pagi. Saya bergegas mengambil air wudhu, sholat subuh.

Matahari semakin naik, kami pun merasakan semakin panas sinarnya.

9. Selalu berdoa dimanapun berada
10. Jaga kebersihan, jangan buang sampah sembarangan, usahakan dibawa ke pinggir lagi.

Climbing Mount Rinjani,The 3rd Peak in Indonesia

Clouds of clouds have been seen from the plane window, the blue sky seemed to be a loyal companion of the vast universe, from a distance seen also a very large mountain, high, which almost surrounds the island of Lombok, Mount Rinjani. Yep, I've always drooled to climb this mountain, not only bearing the title of the third highest mountain in Indonesia, but also because this mountain is known for its extraordinary beauty. The plan to climb this Rinjani I discussed with a native friend who is somewhat male but actually the girl really is the Ines before the fast, and we get official date to start this ascent of 10 days after the Eid.

We both buy tickets deliberately flight first hour because on the first day in Lombok we want to play games for a while. We both though the plane, but different plane, I Lion, the ines Citilink. For the ticket itself, I got a discount yesterday from Panorama Tour so Rp.980.000,00, cheap enough is not it? Exactly at half past five in the morning, I was able to enter the plane, and not delay, rich Lion is now clean, yesterday pas from Lombok to Jakarta also use Lion and always on time, great. Short story plane take off at 5 am and I arrived in Lombok at 8 am WITA.

At Lombok International Airport I was amazed to wait ines same Aji and Satria Lombok children who will pick me up. At around 9 am the Aji and Satria arrived at LIA, and the ines long also out of the airport, around 11 noon we arrived at Satria's house and prepare everything to climb Rinjani in tomorrow. But unfortunately, the Aji can not join this climb because again a short semester, really sorry can not go on vacation.

In the afternoon, I and Ines play around West Lombok for a while, just to Malimbu at Pantai Tiga Setangi, enjoy the sunset for the first time to Lombok.

Day 1, Ampenan - Sembalun - Climbing Mount Rinjani Pos 2

Around 8 am, all personnel who will climb Mount Rinjani come one by one. Our total group is 8 people where 2 people from outside Lombok is me and ines, then 6 people from Lombok is campus friend Satria. The personnel among others

1. Ines, my friend from junior high school whose hair is short, more handsome than me, hmmm
2. Satria son of Lombok who helped me last January
3. Fiqri friends campus the Satria, the Uztad that no songs on his hp, the sound uztad qira'at
4. Jepril is very similar to my friend Kudis, similar to his behavior but still remember God
5. Nauval the boss who works in NTT, whether it's Lombok or NTT, but he is a big boss! #Taliwang
6. Chan the boy from Padang who studied at Unram, Chan is not chandra or what, chan is indeed his       name.

7. and the youngest Iwan's nephew Chan who lives in Sumbawa Besar, whose work is as rich as me,       cigarettes continues at every opportunity

The five sumpret children are Fiqri, Jepril, Nauval, Chan, and Iwan are climbers who really want to climb the mountain, and their first mountain is this climb, Mount Rinjani .. We rented a pickup car from Ampenan to basecamp Sembalun PP 1 million, divided by eighth into 125rb pp. Exactly at half past 11 am we drove from Satria's house in Ampenan, to Sembalun!

Travel for 3 hours. finally we arrived at Sembalun. The atmosphere at that time at the National Park Hall of Mount Rinjani is very quiet, uh it turns out they have been up from the morning, and about 500 people climbers up that day. Before making the climb, we pray first at the nearest mosque and fill the stomach that has been very kick-nendang. After praying and eating, we headed to BTNGR for climbing registration. Simply pay 25ribu course for 5 days, because it is our plan want 5 days in Rinjani, precisely at 4 pm this climb begins!

Etape BTNGR - Pos 1 - Pos 2

From BTNGR, we are still escorted by pick up to tip of asphalt, pretty far on foot. Arriving at the end of the asphalt, we began to climb to the gate of climbing Sembalun. Actually still quite far from the end of the asphalt to the climbing gate, we walk casually. The sharp-loving bud arrived, there was a sand truck that we were willing to ride to near the gate of Sembalun climbing, just 30 minutes away by pick up, truck, and walking a little, we arrived at Sembalun climbing door.

From the climbing gate, we continue the journey on foot to the post 1. The journey from heading to post 1 is a hilly savanna with a steep up and down contour. When the weather is clear, we can see Rinjani clearly, but when it's cloudy, the benefits during the trip is not hot. The journey from the gate to the post 1 very far, especially if you guys from BTNGR on foot, guaranteed knees grip even though the track is steep. If I, Ines, and Satria focus on walking, unlike the five kids who work snapshots continue to work, heuuu, but if they ga photos, no photos for my blog * Thanks, Forward Narcissists! Long story short journey for 1 hour 40 minutes we arrived at post 1.

We stayed long enough in post 1 because the trip is quite far and tiring, the day is getting dark and we immediately set up headlamp, around the hour and a half of 7 we continue the journey to post 2. The journey to the post 2 or our first check point, under control. Night travel does not make us easily tired because we do not see the path. 30 minutes drive from post 1 we arrived at post 2 and directly diriin tent and continue the journey tomorrow. Unfortunately when we want to tent ourselves, rain down, where beruga (saung) in the 2nd post has been controlled by other climbers, so we drenched somewhat fitting tent ourselves. In post 2 there is a water source just under the bridge, but not feasible to drink directly because it smells a bit, preferably the water is used for cooking purposes only.

Day 2, Travel Post 2 - Hill of Regret - Plawangan Sembalun

Good morning! It's our first morning in Rinjani, the weather is very bright, even when out of the tent, Rinjani seemed to welcome us to come. The condition of post 2 is very open, so if the hot weather is really hot, if cold is okay, but not so cold because it is still under 2000 mdpl, so kind of Bogor Peak is cold. While making breakfast instant porridge, then there is a celebration business, around 9 am we continue the journey to Plawangan Sembalun. Today's journey is the heaviest journey along Mount Rinjani because we will pass a hill that he said to make us upset erratic, ehmmm.

Etape pos 2 - pos 3

The journey from post 2 to post 3 has started quite heavy, incline and a little bonus. Actually that make heavy because we can see the path from post 2 to post 3, it feels close to the eye but far on the knee, plus the weather when it's very hot, the more tired. Before arriving at post 3, we will meet the same name 3 extra post, so do not be happy because it is still about 10 minutes from the post 3 extra with a path that has climbed. Exactly at 10 am or 1 hour drive from post 2, we arrived at post 3. The camp area at post 3 is quite wide, but it is not as big as post 2, and in post 3 there is no water source. From post 3, we can see the hill which is said to make the knees same heart sometimes not in line, which he said ready climbers who climbed Rinjani via this hill would be upset, hmmm yap name 7 hills regret. Why his name is 7 hills of regret? Because we are going up the hill to 7 seeds! Yes, no lie, keep fit we gawk upwards, the impression is rich peak Plawangan Sembalun, but that's just the top of the hill only, so this path is also called the path of trickery ..

Stage post 3 - Seven Hills of Regret - Plawangan Sembalun

After resting for half an hour, we also prepare to continue the journey back to the second check point of Plawangan Sembalun. The journey from post 3 to Plawangan is very heavy, plus the weather at that time is often fickle, sometimes scorching heat, sometimes cool due to mist cover. But sure, if we pass this path fits hot, really torture! At that time the weather was foggy, so we did not see the hill above so there was no impression of PHP. The track? A little bonus. Bonus yes if we arrive at every hilltop, after that go on guys.

After a 1 hour 30 minute journey, we arrived at the extra post in the middle of the hill of regret. People say, if we are already in this extra post, the sign is near from Plawangan Sembalun. Yeah close, but the climb is not fair! But the advantage, the path from the post extra to plawangan this tend to be shady because on my left I see a lot of cypress trees, then here I also can only smile if there is a porter passing over me, they are really strong, just wearing sandals, and big bamboo to carry a weight of 20 kilograms, really great, very strong.

Oh yes I want a little story, so the five kids that snapshot, either because they are novice climber or what, as it passes through the hills of regret, they speeding the road kek kek R1, same rich ines also, girls but tigers! And for fun, they all say if the hills regret not make sorry, but make them happy. As for me and Satria the very back, already rich guys leech guys while eating the chocolate, the original foot of the craft!

Exactly at half hour 1 pm we continue the journey from extra post to plawangan sembalun. This trip is heavier than before, yes it's more cool, but the mazjos jago climb, almost as rich as the steep climb Prau bull but more steep again. Here I rest a lot, because the legs begin to cramp, satria too, just the same ines five children that snapshot is speeding steadily. Long story short, in the last hill that the path is very steep, and already seen the top Plawangan Sembalun, exactly at 14:45 or about 2 hours 15 minutes we (more precisely me and the nobleman for the back) finally arrived too! Cihuyyy!

At that time Plawangan condition rather quiet and also foggy. We went a little way to the camp area, near the water source. From Plawangan last way approximately 10 minutes with contours up and down. Arriving at the end of the lane, where the drain lane to the top and to the water source, we also immediately set up a tent. Oh yes it was said Satria, Rinjani is not usually quiet, but usually in Plawangan we want to go really aja really difficult because tents are everywhere. After the tent stood, cook lunch, photographs, around 6 pm we slept all because for preparation summit to Dewi Anjani early morning. Oh yes FYI aja, in Plawangan Sembalun there is a toilet, but the condition is very pathetic :(, plus a lot of land mines there, gatau again what to do :( .. mine do not make us sick, but make our way so lame :( (

Day 3, Plawangan Sembalun - Puncak Dewi Anjani - Segara Anak Lake

Telolettelolettelolet, exactly at half past 12 our alarm malware sounds, and preparation to the summit of Rinjani, the third highest peak in Indonesia. Before climbing, we make breakfast early for our energy, this is mandatory if you gamau exhausted when summit. We make spagetti just an instant but make full. Oh yes the noble did not go to the top because of ever, and he said the peak just once wrote, hmm okay dah akamsi mah free kek Zlatan. Exactly at 1.15 am, with bismillah we also make summit to the third peak in Indonesia!

The starting line from our tent was uphill, and just a few minutes down the road, the path that had been the ground turned into a pretty tired sand. Sand is often really slumped, but do not make the foot drown like Semeru. Long story short for 1 hour drive, we have arrived at Rinjani ridge (really cool) or if we call it Plawangan Sembalun above, because this is the peak of all Plawangan. From here varied tracks, sometimes flat, sometimes climb but not steep, just ga down, and the path was sand, but again do not make foot drown like Semeru. The five sumpret children initially uda kepedean will cepet to the top, because the peak of Rinjani is already visible really, but it has been a long way really not to the point, until in the end the path that tends to change to sandy rocky, steep climb, and pebbly, yap welcome to letter E ridge guys!

Yep, letter E ridge is the heaviest stage along the way to the top. The steep path is about 50-55 degrees, sandy, rocky, and gravel, making the road difficult, plus the cold wind is not hard to breath. But I admit, the path to the top of Rinjani is not as difficult as Semeru, because if Semeru, the sand is really loose right, but this is delicious. The tip is you step on the sand that has been stepped by other climbers let ga slump or fall. Oh yes the Letter E line is also narrow, right left of the abyss. If left the gorge straight to savana sembalun, right ravine directly to the mountain Anak Barujari. Here we have a lot of breaks, let alone the five new snatches ngedown in this path, the spirit of it! Their desire to get to the top before sunrise materialized, exactly at 6 am or a journey for 4 hours 45 minutes, we arrived at the top of Dewi Anjani, the third Peak in Indonesia! Rinjani peak condition is very narrow, and also crowded, we also have to queue for photos. But all our sacrifices are not just about photographs, but can enjoy God's grace above this third peak in Indonesia together.

The weather was really bright, from the top, we can see clearly all of Lombok, even Gili Trawangan located far from Rinjani looks very clear, then a row of exotic hills in Sembalun, Gunung Agung in Bali, and also Mount Tambora in Sumbawa is clearly visible. Once satisfied the photographs at the top and enjoy the beauty of the universe, exactly at half past eight in the morning we went back down. The trip down from the top was quite steep, let alone see the letter E from the top, still ga guess me and my friends can get through the track. Oh yes down from the top is also quite good, rich in skis like in Semeru, but if here we are easy jatoh because there are still many big rocks attached to the sand. Oh yes we are also a lot of narcissists during the lane, let alone see the original Barujari really cool from above. In short we arrive again in the tent at half an hour or half an hour or 3 hours down, it's the photographs that are over time.

The National Monument

The National Monument or commonly known as Monas or Monas Monument is located in Jakarta City. Monas is a memorial to remember the struggle of the Indonesian people in seizing independence and giving resistance to the Dutch colonizers. Monas has a height of 132 meters or 433 feet. Monas building was built on August 17, 1961 on the orders of the first president of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno.

Monas began to open for the public or the general public on July 12, 1975. For the crown of Monasnya flame-shaped tongue of fire, symbolizes the struggle that so enthusiastic in seizing the independence and against the invaders. His flames were covered with gold sheets. National Monument precisely located at Medan Merdeka Square, Central Jakarta. The monuments and museums inside are open daily. Starting from 08:00 to 15:00. On Monday at the last week Monument is closed every month.

History of Monas

Formerly the central government of Indonesia was in Yogyakarta and after the central government returned to Jakarta, which occurred in 1950. After the Dutch government previously recognized the sovereignty of Indonesia, occurred in 1949. President Sukarno has begun to make a draft of a monument planned to be built in front of the Merdeka Palace . He planned a monument commensurate with the Eiffle Tower located in Paris. The construction of the monument aims to commemorate the struggle against the invaders and seize independence. In addition to these reasons the construction of the monument is also aimed at the spirit of patriotism of the youth and future generations continue to fly.

In 1955 the competition was held to find the right monument designer. The number of incoming works amounts to 51 pieces and the selected only 1 work that belongs to Frederich Silaban. Selected works have criteria, can last for centuries and can describe the character of the nation. The second contest was held in 1960, but no work was found that fulfilled the criteria. Out of 136 works none matches one.

Furthermore the head of the jury asked Silaban to show his design to Soekarno, but after seeing the draft, President Soekarno did not like it. He wants a monument with the shape of phallus and yoni. Then Silaban asked to re-create the design in accordance with the theme desired by the president. However, the design of Silaban is extraordinary and requires a lot of funds, so the state budget can not finance its development. Silaban refused when asked to draw a smaller design and demanded that development be postponed until the Indonesian economy is better.

Furthermore, President Soekarno also asked R.M. Soedarsono continue the draft. So he included elements 17, 8, and 45 which were the date of independence, into the design of his monument. And finally the construction of the monument began and stood on 80 hectares of land, with architects Friedrich Silaban and R.M. Soedarsono.

Monas Development

The monument was built in two stages: in the first stage (1961 / 1962-1964 / 1965) when the construction started on August 17, 1961, President Soekarno installed the first concrete peg. The concrete pile used as the foundation is 284 stakes of concrete. And for pasak bumi used as the foundation of this museum amounts to 360 pieces. The installation of the foundation was completed in 1962 in March. The museum wall at the base of the building was completed in October.

For the second phase of development carried out in 1966-1968 because of the Movement of 30 September 1965 (PKI), development was delayed. Then resumed in 1969-1976 by adding dioramas to the history museum. Although the construction is over, there are still problems with this building. One of them is water that leak and make the museum flooded. Monas was officially opened on 12 July 1975 by Soekarno.

The place of Monas development is named Medan Merdeka until now. However, the field had also changed the name several times starting from Gambir Square, Ikada, Merdeka, Monas, and Monas Park Field. Around the monument there is a pool and also a garden and an open field. The field is widely used as a sports venue. Medan Field Merdeka will be crowded visitors especially on holidays. Many people come here to just take a walk while enjoying the beauty of Monas or doing other activities.

National Museum of History

At the base of the National Monument we can find a place called the National History Museum. The museum is at a depth of 3 meters below the monument. Museum with size 80 × 80 meters can accommodate up to 500 people visitors. The large room is covered with marble, has 48 dioramas on all four sides and 3 dioramas in the middle, totaling 51 dioras. The diorama displays the condition of the Indonesian nation that started from prehistoric times until the New Order period. Seeing the diorama starting from the northeast direction and walking clockwise starting from prehistoric times, empire, European colonialism, national hero resistance against VOC, Dutch government, national movement early 20th century, Japan occupied Indonesia, war of independence and revolution, The new Suharto government.

Space Independence

On the inside of the monument is the Space of Independence. To achieve it can go through the spinning staircase either from the north or south. This is where the symbols of freedom and statehood are well preserved, some of which are original manuscripts of proclamation in glass boxes and in gold-plated gates, NKRI archipelago maps are also gold-plated, the state symbol, red and white flags. As well as a wall that has a writing proclamation.

The in-depth Independence Space is useful for a moment of silence and a restful atmosphere recalling the nation's struggle and the essence of freedom. The golden gate in which is stored the original proclamation manuscript made of bronze with a weight of 4 tons with ornate carvings of wijaya kusuma symbols of eternity as well as lotus flower symbol of purity. This door is also known by the name of the gate of independence that will mechanically open to the strains of song Padamu Negeri.

Then followed by reading the manuscript proclamation by Sukarno. The southern side there is a statue of garuda pancasila made of bronze with a weight of 3.5 tons and coated with gold. The east side is a proclamation text with bronze letters. The Saka Merah Putih was not shown because of his old and fragile condition. In the northern part contains the Indonesian archipelago coated with gold, as a symbol of the location of NKRI.

Peak Freedom Flower and Fire Platform

There is an elevator that will take the tourists to the top of the courtyard which measures 11 × 11 meters. The height of this place from the ground is 115 meters. In a one-time visitor, the lift can accommodate up to 11 people. While the top ground can accommodate up to 50 people. And here is also available binoculars that can be used to see the beauty of the city of Jakarta from a height. The elevator body is surrounded by an emergency staircase all made of iron.

If there is no smoke and sunny weather then from the top of Monas we can see Mount Salak through binoculars and also blue ocean with small islands around it. At the peak of this monument there is also a gold coated plate that is useful to withstand the flame of bronze lights weighing up to 14.5 tons. As for the fire tongue has a height of 14 meters and a diameter of 6 meters. It consists of 77 sections which are then put together.

As explained earlier that the flame that is the crown of Monas is a symbol of the struggle and resistance of the Indonesian nation against the invaders. At first the sheets that cover the Monas weigh 35 kg. But at the 50th anniversary of Indonesia's independence in 1995, the gold sheets were re-coated so that up to now it weighs 50 kg.

The peak of Monas Monument in the form of fire that never go away, it is expected that the spirit of the Indonesian nation in the fight remains burning and burning to whenever. The 17-meter wide bowl plates give its own beauty and can be reached using elevators from the top of the Monas court. For the gold of Monas torch, 28 of 38 kg of gold is donated by Acehnese businessman named Teuku Markam.

Monas Park

To get rid of the taste and refreshing can visit Monas Park, this park is a kind of city forest with design like a garden which is very beautiful. In this park we can do various activities like get together and relax with family and also sport. In addition it can also play with a herd of deer that was deliberately imported from the Bogor Palace.

Monas Park is equipped with a pool of dancing fountains that have a variety of colors such as rainbows. The fountain will move like a dance in accordance with the accompanying strains of the song. There are also colorful laser show here. The rocks in the sharp Monas Park can be used for reflexology. Facilities include a ball and basketball court, as well as a tourist train. Entrance to the Park is free.

Let's visit Indonesia, and visit the National Monument located in Jakarta.

Pendakian Gunung Merapi 2930 mdpl via Selo

Keindahan Gunung Merapi

Perjalanan menuju basecamp selo

Sempet panik sih, takutnya salah jalan. Tapi alhamdulillah ketemu juga. Yang jalan kiri memang betul jalan pendaki, kalau yang kanan jalan orang nyari rumput kalik ya ? , soalnya nerobos rumput tinggi-tinggi banget, susah pokoknya.

Kabut tipis mulai turun, membuat udara semakin dingin.

Kami bergegas membongkar tas carriel, mengeluarkan tenda.

Sebetulnya kurang bagus sih buat kesehatan, tapi mau ga mau ya hajarrrr, laper soalnya. Mie instan digunung tuh enak banget, tauk. Apalagi di campur telor, dimakan pas anget, subhanallah banget.

Keindahan pemandangan puncak merapi

Good Night yahhh….. sampai jumpa besok pagi…..

Summit Attack

Background Gunung Merbabu

Yak lumayanlah buat angetin badan.

Akhirnya perlahan kabut hilir mudik dan terkiskis. Semua kabut pergi entah kemana, dan pemandangan indah nampak jelas. Para pendaki mulai bersorak-sorai, menyambut keindahan alam ciptaan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.

Perjalanan Turun

Satu jam berjalan, kami sampai di tenda. Kami saling bantu-membantu mencoba masak nasi, masak sayur asam, goreng tempe, telor rebus, masak mie instan.

Sekian perjalanan kami, harap maklum jika alur ceritanya berantakan. Terima kasih.
